The Trinidad Tabacaleros picked up a win at Campo de los Tabacaleros, dropping the Ciego de Avila Monjes Grises, 1-0. Casiodoro Herrera, who finished 3rd in the TORI in ERA with 1.76 in 1904, was the difference-maker. Adrián Muñoz earned his 11th save in 12 chances. With the win, Trinidad pushed its record to 69-53.
The Tabacaleros got a big at-bat from second baseman Filippio Aglietti. For the game, Aglietti went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Trinidad a 1-0 lead.
In postgame comments to the Trinidad Observer, Aglietti said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
