The Cleveland Spiders beat the Louisville Colonels, 7-2, at Eclipse Park II. The Spiders got a fine performance from first baseman Tim Jordan, who went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Andrew Foster was the winner. He's now 2-5. The loser was eight-time All-Star Jake Campbell. The defeat makes Louisville 18-15.

Cleveland took a 6-1 lead on Jordan's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jake Campbell in the top of the seventh, propelled Cleveland to the win.

Jordan called the triumph "a good team win."
