The Erie Commodores defeated the Meadville Zips, 13-6, at XYZ Stadium. Leading the charge for Erie was third baseman Alistair Ross. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Quirino Rodríguez was the winner. He's now 4-4. The loser was 36-year old left-handed pitcher Charlie Dewald.

Erie left fielder Pascual Rendón helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
