Soggy conditions did not keep Caguas and Aguas Buenas from playing their scheduled game.

The Caguas Ruidosos defeated the Aguas Buenas Testarudos, 8-2. Doing his part was designated hitter Cayetano de Castro, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Ruidosos, now 14-5, have been on fire in the early going.

Eladio Vásquez, the Caguas right fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 1-0, Ruidosos. For the game, Vásquez was 2-4 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Mateo Castañón.
