Zumbadorcitos Top Chiringas to Even Record
The Vieques Zumbadorcitos besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Juncos left fielder Ordoño Serrano by beating the Chiringas, 5-4, at La Cenadora. Serrano went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Balbino Adame closed it out for his 1st save. The win makes Vieques 10-10.

The Zumbadorcitos got a big hit from catcher Baudelio López. Facing Juncos pitcher Pedro Quezada in the bottom of the sixth, López pounded a run-scoring double to right. His 1st double of the season put the Zumbadorcitos ahead, 5-2.

Vieques manager Ricardo Santiago was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
