López Pops Two Homers in 8-4 Win for Albuquerque
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Albuquerque Dukes and Taos Artists.

Albuquerque catcher Urayoán López had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Taos Artists, 8-4. Admeto Fuentes, the winner, goes to 1-1. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts over 8.1 innings.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 27-year old first baseman Plácido Morales. Morales had a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dukes ahead, 5-4. For the game, Morales had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Morales. "And not try to do too much."

With the win, Albuquerque is 2-5.
