Submersibles Drop Rocking Horses, 3-1, Behind Cervantes
In a low-scoring contest between the Falmouth Submersibles and the Winchendon Rocking Horses, 29-year old left-handed pitcher Abdías Cervantes proved to be the difference. The Falmouth left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Submersibles win. The loss lowers the Winchendon record to 7-5.

It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Cervantes, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 9 innings and allowed only 5 hits. Cervantes raised his record to 1-1 on the year with 20 strikeouts.

"I go out there and do my job," said Cervantes, "knowing I've got eight other guys to help me out."
