Winchendon got a strong outing from Elton Porter as the Rocking Horses defeated the Falmouth Submersibles, 5-1, at The Toy Store. For the Submersibles, the loss makes their record 8-15.

José Alvarado drove in one run for Winchendon. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Crispín Cruz. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

Winchendon manager Roberto Ortiz commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
