Vampires Field played host to some exciting baseball.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Griswold Vampires and the Mystic Drawbridges, Bernardo Carrillo, who is tied for 2nd in the SNEA in innings pitched with 116.1, was the difference-maker. The Griswold right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Griswold is now 29-18, while Mystic is 28-19.

Élouan Besson was the walk-off hero for Griswold. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vampires second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's Baseball 101," said Griswold manager Eufemio Ahumada. "Fundamentals."
