The home crowd came to cheer on their first-place Nashua Gatekeepers.

The Nashua Gatekeepers needed 10 innings to beat the Concord Stagecoaches, 6-5, at The Gatehouse. Sabino Jiménez, for one, had a fine performance. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The Gatekeepers raised their record to 35-17.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Nashua. That's when 33-year old first baseman Sabino Durán hit a run-scoring double off Fernando Cuestas to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"This game tested our mettle," said Durán.
