Mystic Rallies for 4-2 Victory
Stamford wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Federico López, falling to the Mystic Drawbridges, 4-2. López threw 7.1 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Lucio Contreras, who is tied for 6th in the SNEA in saves with 4, earned the save for Mystic. At 24-29, the Drawbridges find themselves in third place in the Southern New England Association Connecticut Circuit.

Mystic used the timely hitting of Tomás Romero to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Drawbridges on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a good effort all around," said Romero.
