Auburn starter Eugenio Lugo pitched well against the Bangor River Hogs at The Log Flume. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Auburn goes to 38-27, Bangor to 35-30.

Had it not been for Romuald Buso, the results might have been different. In the top of the ninth inning, when the Cordwainers were trailing 3-2, Buso hit a 2-run single for Auburn, giving his team the lead.

"I really like what we did out there today," Buso said after the game.
