Submersibles Rally to Nose Past Newburyport
The Falmouth Submersibles topped the Newburyport Deep Ones, 6-5, in 10 innings at OceanGate Memorial Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Falmouth pitcher Abdías Cervantes. Falmouth now sits at 32-41, while Newburyport falls to 31-42.

Telmo Rodríguez played the role of hero for Falmouth. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a solo home run off Víctor Hugo Chávez to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Cervantes told the Falmouth Herald. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
