Soggy conditions did not keep Templeton and Falmouth from playing their scheduled game.

The Templeton Red Onions had to overcome a fine effort from Falmouth pitcher Abdías Cervantes to win, 3-1, at The House of Sorrow. Cervantes went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Templeton now sports a record of 39-39.

Justo Barreto hit a run-scoring double off Abdías Cervantes in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Red Onions in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Barreto had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Barreto.
