Regicides Defeated, 5-3, After Mystic Rallies
The Mystic Drawbridges topped the New Haven Regicides, 5-3, with first baseman Natanael Augier playing a big role. Augier was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs for the Drawbridges in the win. The winning pitcher was 22-year old left-handed pitcher Juan Barreto. He tossed 148 pitches over 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. Germán Beltrán sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Mystic used the timely hitting of Ghazi bin Fahad to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Drawbridges on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said bin Fahad.

The Drawbridges move to 45-40 with the win, while the Regicides drop to 33-52.
