The Winchendon Rocking Horses were defeated, 4-3, by the Templeton Red Onions at The Toy Store, even though Elton Porter pitched well for Winchendon. The second-place Red Onions lifted their record to 44-41.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 30-year old catcher Aimar Ochoa. Ochoa had a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Red Onions ahead, 4-3. For the game, Ochoa had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
