Regicides Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
The New Haven Regicides topped the Mystic Drawbridges, 5-4, with youngster Osvaldo Pérez playing a key role. Pérez was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Regicides in the win. The Regicides sport a record of 34-53.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 35-year old left fielder Steve Brodie had a chance to be the hero. Mystic pitcher Rodrigo Bernal wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Brodie hit a sacrifice fly. The Regicides had themselves a thrilling win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Mystic manager Justin Poole said, following the tough loss.
