The Lewiston Quebeckers picked up a win at Stade de Lewiston, dropping the Bangor River Hogs, 4-2. Eddie Quick was the difference-maker. Bill Wolff closed the game out for Lewiston, earning his 5th save. With this game in the books, Lewiston is 49-39, Bangor 52-36.
Elía Valenzuela dealt the River Hogs a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Lewiston leading 2-1, Valenzuela hit a 2-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.
"Eddie was dictating to their hitters," said Lewiston manager Arquímedes Santiago.
