Behind a fine performance from Rutilio López, the Concord Stagecoaches knocked off the Manchester Gamblers, 10-6. López was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Stagecoaches. Concord is now 54-37, Manchester 32-59.

José Santos had a big 2-run double for the Stagecoaches in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Concord leading 5-2 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Arthur Ross and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stagecoaches ahead, 7-2.
