The Nashua Gatekeepers picked up a win at The Gatehouse, dropping the Manchester Gamblers, 5-3. William Bell, who is tied for 8th in the NNEA in wins with 13, was the difference-maker. Nashua is first in the Northern New England Association New Hampshire Circuit with a record of 52-42.

There were several reasons the Gatekeepers beat the Gamblers, but one factor was Bonifacio Ibarra. In the bottom of the fourth, the Nashua designated hitter came to bat and hit a 2-run single. It staked his team to a 3-1 lead.

Ibarra attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
