River Hogs Do In Quebeckers, 6-1

Bangor River Hogs starter Serafín García kept the Lewiston Quebeckers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-1 win. In 9 innings, García surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Bangor is now 49-50, Lewiston 44-55.
Gastón Martínez had a big solo home run for the River Hogs in the top of the fourth inning. With Bangor leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from 32-year old left-handed pitcher Tom Ferry and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Hogs ahead, 2-0.
Said losing manager John Fox: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
