Falmouth Beats Newburyport in Extra Innings
The Falmouth Submersibles picked up a win at OceanGate Memorial Stadium, topping the Newburyport Deep Ones, 5-4. On the mound for Falmouth was left-hander Abdías Cervantes. He played a principal role in the triumph. The defeat makes Newburyport 41-58.

The Submersibles got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Marco Pagán. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Submersibles.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Cervantes said.
