The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Manchester Gamblers grabbed a win, 10-3, over the Concord Stagecoaches at Gamblers Den. Manchester left fielder Juan Carlos Armendáriz was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. The winning pitcher was Baudelio Ruiz. He tossed 108 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. Pandolfo Valdez got credit for the save for Manchester. It was his 1st of the year.

Modesto Rosario hit a 2-run double off Miguel Prats in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Gamblers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Rosario had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
