Winchendon got a strong outing from Alfredo Guzmán as the Rocking Horses defeated the Falmouth Submersibles, 4-2, at OceanGate Memorial Stadium. The save was credited to Ramón Govantes, his 17th. The first-place Rocking Horses are now 66-38, the Submersibles 47-57.

With one out in the top of the eighth, Jamie Copeland had a game-changing hit. The Rocking Horses left fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Abdías Cervantes, making the score 3-1, Winchendon.

"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Guzmán.
