The Bangor River Hogs topped the Auburn Cordwainers, 5-3, in Northern New England Association action at The Log Flume. The standout performance belonged to Bangor pitcher and Coamo, Puerto Rico, native José Lara. Lara yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4. His record improves to 10-9. Bangor sits in third place in the Northern New England Association Maine Circuit at 51-54.
