Rodríguez Helps Submersibles Defeat Deep Ones, 10-3
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Innsmouth-under-the-Shadow Park.

The Falmouth Submersibles beat the Newburyport Deep Ones, 10-3, at Innsmouth-under-the-Shadow Park. The win was due in part to left fielder Telmo Rodríguez, who went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Submersibles now have a record of 50-59.

The Submersibles got a big hit from right fielder Cisco Reynoso. Facing Newburyport pitcher Everardo Olquín in the top of the sixth, Reynoso pounded a bases-clearing double to left. His 15th double of the season put the Submersibles ahead, 8-1.

"Banging out wins is what it's all about," said Reynoso.
