The Bennington Melodeons went home winners at The Graveyard, thanks in large part to starter Isaac Castro. Castro stifled the Barre Headstones, enabling Bennington to grab the 5-1 win. The Melodeons now own a record of 75-39.

The Melodeons took the lead, 3-0, in the top of the fourth inning. Facing Barre hurler Miguel Martínez with one out, Pablo Rodríguez hit a 2-run single.

"Isaac pitched like a champ," said Bennington manager Alcides González.
