Thanks in large part to center fielder Pacífico Saldívar, the Falmouth Submersibles beat the Winchendon Rocking Horses, 9-3. Saldívar went 2-4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Beltrán Reyes picked up the win with 8.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 8-16. Falmouth is now 55-59.

With Falmouth leading 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Saldívar hit a fastball from Rubén García for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Submersibles ahead, 7-3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Saldívar. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
