The Stamford Locksmiths topped the Griswold Vampires, 11-5, the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Charles Bagwell. On the day, Bagwell went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Locksmiths. The second-place Locksmiths are 61-59.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Bagwell told the Stamford Today.
