Rocking Horses Topple Submersibles, 2-1
Winchendon pitcher Elton Porter did his part in helping his team defeat the Falmouth Submersibles, 2-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. The Rocking Horses improved their record to 70-50 with the win over Falmouth.

The Rocking Horses got a big at-bat from left fielder Jamie Copeland. For the game, Copeland was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Winchendon a 2-1 lead.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Porter.
