Lewiston Loses Again, 6-4
|
The Bangor River Hogs took on the Lewiston Quebeckers at River Hogs Park.
The Bangor River Hogs earned a win at River Hogs Park, knocking off the Lewiston Quebeckers, 6-4. On the bump for Bangor was left-hander José Rodríguez. He had a starring role in the triumph. Rodríguez, who is tied for 8th in the NNEA in quality starts with 20, went the distance for Bangor. He gave up 4 runs on 8 hits.
Bangor took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Gobrías Emeric hit a 2-run single to make it 6-4, River Hogs.
"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Bangor manager Aaron Clapp.
The losses continue to pile up for Lewiston, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.
