The game between Manchester and Concord is in the books, despite a little rain.

Manchester pitcher Hipólito Galván did his part in helping his team beat the Concord Stagecoaches, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Manchester is 47-80 and Concord, with the loss, 72-55.

Manchester first baseman Tarasio Granados landed a blow when he socked a solo home run in the top of the second. It was his 6th home run of the season. With it, the Gamblers took the lead, 1-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Granados.
