The Griswold Vampires and Mystic Drawbridges completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Griswold Vampires racked up a win at Ballpark By The Water, bumping off the Mystic Drawbridges, 8-2. Juan Pérez, who started for Griswold, pitched effectively for his team. The Vampires improved their record to 78-53 with the win over Mystic.

Ciriaco Álvarez's at-bat in the top of the fourth was significant for the Vampires. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Griswold trailing 2-0, the Vampires designated hitter got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Pérez told the Griswold Citizen.
