The Penuelas Idiofonos beat the Maricao Ristretti, 5-4. Penuelas pitcher and Brockville, Canada, native Hubert Mahoney led the way. Darío Madrid earned the save, his 1st, for the Idiofonos. The win makes Penuelas 14-13.

London, England-born Robert Larkin came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Idiofonos trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Penuelas on top.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Mahoney.
