Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Guanica Panas and Guayanilla Tormentas.

The Guanica Panas locked up a win at Parquecito de Guánica, knocking off the Guayanilla Tormentas, 4-3. On the mound for Guanica was right-hander Fulgencio Arredondo. He played a major role in the triumph. Arredondo yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 3-4.

The Panas got an important contribution from third baseman Ernesto Saucedo, who in the bottom of the first knocked a full count fastball to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Panas ahead, 3-0.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Saucedo. "Those qualities define our team."

The Panas now have a record of 14-14.
