5-Hit Blitz by Adjuntas's Blackwell

There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.
Michael Blackwell is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Jayuya Picachos at Parquecito de Jayuya. The monster effort from the 19-year-old shortstop helped the Adjuntas Beatos get the win, 5-1.
"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Picachos manager Harry Koons. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."
Michael Blackwell singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
In the current season, Blackwell has put up a .365 batting average with 42 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBI and scored 21 runs.
