Canovanas registered a win at La Cenadora by beating the Vieques Zumbadorcitos, 3-2. Pitcher Esquilo Cordova was one reason why the Criptidos triumphed. Cordova picked up the win for Canovanas, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1. Flavien Filareta finished to wrap up his 6th save.

Lanz Beck had a critical at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Canovanas. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Canovanas in front, 3-1.
