The rain did not keep Las Piedras and Aibonito from finishing their game.

No one was more impactful than Alfonso Ramírez in the 12-5 Las Piedras win over Aibonito. Ramírez went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Las Piedras pitcher Séptimo Sánchez earned the win, hiking his record to 4-3. Absalón Bernal suffered the loss.

Las Piedras used a clutch at-bat from Jesús Flores to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Peritos ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Nick Scharf, the Aibonito manager.

Aibonito is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 16 games.
