Mayaguez Rallies for 5-4 Victory
The Mayaguez Alfereces topped the Aguadilla Alevines, 5-4, in Liga Mariana Bracetti action at Parquecito de Mayagüez. The standout performance belonged to Mayaguez pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native José Domínguez. The Alfereces improved their record to 14-21 by beating Aguadilla.

Matthew Hudson found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Aguadilla hurler Salomón Zamora, the 16-year-old designated hitter hit a sacrifice fly. His 3rd RBI of the season put the Alfereces on top, 5-4.

"It was a solid team effort," Hudson said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
