Adelino Flores dominated the Cayey Brumosos with a brilliant 3-hit shutout in the 2-0 Maunabo Tranquilos triumph at Parquecito de Cayey. The Maunabo hurler fanned 10 and walked 1 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.

"He really kept us in check today," Brumosos skipper Carlos Fregoso said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."

In 10 starts this year, Flores has recorded a 7-2 record and a 1.79 ERA.
