Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Zarzas
The Rio Grande Zarzas beat the Vieques Zumbadorcitos, 4-3, in 13 innings. Rio Grande pitcher and San Angelo, La Frontera, native Humberto Figueroa led the way. After today's action, Rio Grande sits at 24-12, while Vieques falls to 11-27.

The Zarzas relied on second baseman Felipe Rivera for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Rivera told the Rio Grande Observer. "Whatever it takes."
