Herradones Get Dramatic 8-5 Triumph
It took 11 innings, but the Bayamon Herradones were able to beat the Catano Canoneros, 8-5, at Parquecito de Bayamón. Alois Fischhof provided some offensive muscle for Bayamon. He was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mercuriano Lovato, now 4-4, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Herradones are now 24-15.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With no one out, Fischhof hit a fastball from Sillvestre Bullosa for a 3-run home run. The Herradones, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It feels good to get this one," Fischhof told the Bayamon Daily News.
