The Utuado Serranos clipped the Ciales Guapetones, 5-3, in 11 innings at Parquecito de Utuado. The standout performance belonged to Utuado pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Absalón Rodríguez. The Serranos go to 20-20, putting them 9th in the Liga José Padilla División Eugenio Ortiz.

Utuado got a game-changing hit from Ismael Ortiz. The shortstop blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
