Alevines Use Late Surge to Win
The Aguadilla Alevines handed the Mayaguez Alfereces a sound defeat, 13-3, at Parquecito de Mayagüez. Quilón Menjívar was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 for Aguadilla. The 8th-place Alevines bumped their record to 21-21.

Ray Morey had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the eighth for Aguadilla. With the bases loaded and the Alevines leading 4-3, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Nice to score a bunch of runs," said Menjívar after the game.
