Conditions were not ideal but Cabo Rojo and Sabana Grande were able to put their game in the books.

In a low-scoring contest, Cabo Rojo pitcher Sergio Rojas was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. This win makes it 6 in a row for Cabo Rojo.

Rojas earned the win to move to 5-5. In his 9-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 7 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Tramantes few scoring opportunities.

"Sergio went out and did what we needed," said Cabo Rojo manager Marcos Macías.
