Xyzzy Plugh pitched a strong game at El Marenguito, blanking the Hormigueros Companeros, 5-0. Plugh, who is tied for 10th in the LMB with a 0.95 WHIP, allowed no runs on 3 hits, totaled 12 strikeouts and gave up 4 walks.

Yauco manager Evaristo Martínez said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Plugh.
