Extra-Inning Win by Tranquilos Over Olimpicos
Maunabo starter Claude Rurangwa pitched well against the Salinas Olimpicos at Parquecito de Maunabo. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3, in 12 innings. The winner in relief was Luis Orozco. He is now 4-2. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The Tranquilos improved to 24-30.

Maunabo got a game-changing hit from Phil John. The shortstop blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.
