Rincon pitcher Leandro Hernández did his part in helping his team beat the San Sebastian Husares, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Hernández got the win, improving to 6-6. He gave up 9 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win, the Maquinistas have a record of 28-27.

In the bottom of the eighth, Fulvio Abineri put Rincon in front with a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single, making the score 4-3, Maquinistas.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Cédric Oger.
