Fernández Hits Two Homers in 6-3 Win for Grand Marais
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Grand Marais Voyageurs.

The Grand Marais Voyageurs finished off the Sault St. Marie Rapids, 6-3. Much of the credit belonged to shortstop Luis Fernández. Fernández slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Voyageurs. The win puts Grand Marais at 47-34 this season.

With Grand Marais trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Fernández hit a 2-run single off Sault St. Marie hurler Mateo Ramírez. It was the 75th hit of the season for Fernández and put his team ahead, 3-2.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Grand Marais manager Sean Webster.
