Big Day for Hurst in 9-2 Zips Win
The Meadville Zips downed the Erie Commodores, 9-2, at Erie Naval Yards. Quinn Hurst led the way, going 4-for-5 for Meadville. The Zips raised their record to 34-45.

Meadville won the game in part because of Eduardo García. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Zips ahead, 7-1. For the game, García had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

Said losing manager Chris Lehmann: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
